Same here Thumbs Up

2 miles north of here it is lashing it down. Amazing cloud formations to the north where the bad weather is and there is almost a perfect straight line between the bad weather and the good.

It will take more than 10 days or even 20 days of rain to make up for the overall deficit we've suffered over the last year and a half. A couple of months of rain would make a noticeable difference.

It is good for the plants and trees though (including the 2,500 I planted at work last month!), and it does help to improve the water supply situation by dissuading people from washing their cars and watering their gardens. Does make getting about the woods a bit interesting though, very wet and slippery out there at the moment.

Mother nature is not without a sense of irony though it seems Smile

Not only is it a wet drought, it's got rather windy over in the arid desert that is Bucks. Shocked

Think I know what today's job is....

Still, on the plus side, at least it missed the Sky dish

thats a big christmas tree!

Today is meant to be the worst of it, watching the river levels on the EA website closely. Don't want a repeat of 07.
