Gutted for you guys, can you get the crossing money back or did you have insurance already If something a bit more local and less £££ is planned to compensate the lost trip, drop us a line |

TACK,
Luckily its cost us about £200 to cancel - i was starting to feel light headed when i thought I would loose the ferry costs We're thinking Italy and the dolomites now, we're only 5 hours from the Harwich to Rotterdam ferry and then drive down Germany to Italy if you fancy it |

If you'd booked leave during a Sqn / Regt stand down that has been cancelled for an Ex then you should be mighty hacked off. Have you annoyed your 2IC?
I've only ever had leave messed with for ops reasons - and on quite a few occasions - but in civvie strasse its pretty well protected so long as requested with reasonable notice (ie a month). |

I would love to go to Iceland someday but the costs rule it out for the forseeable future, unless I get myself a job with a good wage (anyone offering???)
Hope you can pick up where you left off and will look forward to photos. |

We are also planning a trip to Iceland ... Summer 2013....
One quick question to the experts .... Is a snorkel/wading kit an absolute MUST or advisable or is it possible to go without (Td4 90 - 235/85R16)? ... Best Regards, Axel |

Axel,
Reference the snorkal - better be safe than sorry. What dates are you thinking - we are planning on re-doing the trip in 2013. Cheers Ian |
