Myself, and my wife and a couple of friends had an experience in a 2.2 Puma 110 at Peckforton Castle yesterday afternoon, very ably guided by our instructor Alex.
I just want to say how good it was, my wife absolutely loved it, and now wants to bring her Td5 90 on my next boys weekend away My friend Mark was gobsmacked by the ability and comfort ( don't know what he was expecting) of the vehicle, so much so he is down the dealers today trading in his Voyager. I was also impressed by the off road ability, and the relatively smooth on road performance. bear in mind I drive a D3 day to day, that's saying something. Great report!
We've done 3 Land Rover Experience days. One in a Defender, one in a Disco3, and one in an Evoque. All 3 have been at Dunkeld LRE in Scotland. MrsK now has an Evoque. I preferred the Defender by far (that's why I have one ). Next time I do an LRE, I'll use somewhere other than Dunkeld...not that there's anything wrong with Dunkeld, but it would be nice to try another centre... Yes, Previously I have done experiences at Skipton, Rockingham and Eastnor. I reckon Eastnor is the best. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

low. in fact those that come on a day at LRE and then dont buy are marked as LRE failures..... even if they have already bought one prior to the day - so dealers who give them out as thank yous dont really help LRE! also interesting to note many of you have had repeat visits where as some struggle to get one. I've done 2 LRE days at Honiton and Eastnor. We ended up over the road in the deer park at Eastnor and the inst wasn't that good. First impressions were poor and he didn't know his product that well either!!!

Got it free from a dealer to make up for the poor service I had received. So nothing lost. Plus I'm not in the market for a new LR just yet. A few other pressing things to do first 110 D250 SE HT

not to you, but there is to the LRE centres, its another element they are marked on, the number of vouchers given and how many are taken up. also 'lost' income, or at least chance to an LRE centre. Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

Don't see how. It wasn't assigned to a centre, just a compliments slip and a "free Day" written on it. So the fact that I hadn't booked it there is nothing lost. The dealer thinks he's been great by giving me a ticket, I had the option to go but didn't.

LRE work as an independent element, same as the dealers.
dealers give out say 30k vouchers a year. they are all recorded. say 20k vouchers are used in the same year from that 30k issues. LRE is failing to take in 1/3rd of the vouchers issued. which then asks the questions of is LRE viable? affordable/profitable etc etc. the business to LRE is not whether you buy or not in the first instance. and i am not getting into another match here.
