Hi chaps thanks for pics and link
One question how much further up / out do these wheels become as I am on the large size and find the original quiet tight when getting in

I've got the Raid Dino, it's one of the few aftermarket ones that comes with German TUV.

It's 360mm in diameter (which should be about 40mm less than the standard one) which is pretty good for your legs if you are on the tall(er) side. It's also a bit thicker / wider so when you hold it it has a nice positive feel.

You can get if fairly cheap with plastic or a bit more expensive in leather and also in suede. The suede one should be about 160,- pounds. You need a new boss with it which will set you off another couple of quid.

Here's an online shop that sells it with a nice magnifying picture:

There are a myriad of different styles and types of steering wheel. If at all possible try before you buy...I did! The wheel I opted for came as 'dished' or 'flat' and I went for the flat as I didn't wish to lose any room. The last thing you want is to shell-out your 'hard'earnt' to find you've purchased a wheel that obliterates the view of your instruments and/or sacrifice the limited room you have available. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!!

We have a selection of Momo steering wheels on stock, and we even manufacture our own billet steering boss, as most of the bosses available are of very poor quality.

This is the Momo Tuner steering wheel (350mm), which is my personal favorite, and is pretty much the cheapest Momo steering wheel available! Very Happy

Take a look at some other styles available, on our website, Here: http://www.alivetuning.com/Momo_Accessories.html

Regards,

Gary.

Lee, the advantage with doing this is that you can put on a quick release boss/adaptor enabling you to take the wheel off for security reasons. Need to check on boss compatibility and that the bosses don't stick up too much Thumbs Up

Hi

I'd like to change my steering wheel, but if I have to add steering boss then the wheel will come forward some 50mm, and that is not very confortable, at least to me...

Are there any steering wheels that don't need a steering boss ? Regards
Joao
