10 minutes max, very easy
15mm socket on a knuckle bar to remove to tension and a 15mm spanner needed, it's pretty self explanatory just take note of the belt track |

POP, as above 15mm socket on a breaker bar is all you need. 2mins. Cheers

how long should the OE belts last ? Mine's less than a year old ... (and don't tell me off roading has shortened it's life ... it's a land rover ) |

Suggest you take the engine number as there are 2 belt lengths and I found MY didnt help. BM52

my old 300 defender belt lasted 3 years (no air con) my old 300 disco with ac would last about 9-12 months.
check pulley bearings, water pump etc for wear and alignment before refitting, also your tensioner may start to squeal with a new belt, use silicone spray on the belt (not wd40!) and white grease as appropriate on the tensioner pulley. |

all done, 10 minute job .. all done and tested
good call BM52, I called the dealer with the chassis number they found the right one. |
