Not sure what number my 07 is but I've had few issues (some, but not too dramatic).

I was looking at an 09 in the dealer the other day (took my 2 year old and he raced straight past the new RR and Discos to play in the Defender Thumbs Up ) and it definitely had a more solid action to the doors. What would they have changed that makes that much difference?

Still loving my 110. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS
+ New Defender 110 First Edition

The dealer adjusted the door on the px side - now it shuts just a solidly as the driver and no more than the 09 - although i never thought there was a problem...i was "told" that it was Rolling Eyes .

Ive decided to keep mine - i dont think the 09/10's are any better, slightly a little worse. Mike

Hi, First Defender, after many Japenese 4x4's I thought it was time to get the real deal, but I must say I am a bit peed off to find an oil leak after 900 miles.

Called the LR people out to check it out, ant the guy reckons the bolts have not been torqued up correctly. I am not sure how LR manage their quality control, but i would think tihgtning up the gearbox bolts would be checked.

Anyway, the Defender is going in to be checked and repaired, I hope this is the last problem.

By selling them to us Thumbs Up
Fortunately they get under your skin and, like a slightly incontinent dog, you still love them to bits and can't help but smile whenever you play with them (you just have to mop up slightly afterwards). One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS
+ New Defender 110 First Edition

A well, I will just have to get used to it, but for the time being LR will keep getting it back until out of warranty, but oily driveway aside I really like my 90, and unlike all my previous vehicles I will be keeping this for a while
