While bringing in one of the horses earlier she decided to take an interest in the 110

Horses are notorious for "tasting" cars, they start off by licking because they can get the taste of road salt and grime, then, they try a bite
How do I know? I was covering for a farm mechanic whilst he was on holiday and had a call out to a tractor that had broken down when topping some horse paddocks. This fitter had a new van, a Citroen C15(now that dates it  ) and it was less than a month old. Unseen by me as I was working on the tractor, a couple of field inmates were providing the tractor driver with some amusement by licking the new van, untill...............one of them bared her teeth and tried to bite the panel she was licking The panel in question was the 'false window' one in the van body, that just crumpled up and fell out into the van, the horse  itself and shot off and the other two followed, after putting a couple of dents where they used the van to gain some purchase to aid their flight 
After that I allways used my own motor(I had an ex Channel Tunnel 110 truck cab at the time) and used to get diesel provided, they actually did me a favour as the farm would let me have a "tank" of diesel a week, it took years for them to cotton on that a 110 has a damn site bigger tank than the 90's that the bosses drove  |

She's my 3 year old Suffolk Punch mare - and has a bit more growing to do just yet  Steve.

Oh come on Labs so last year Wemies are fab on shoots as they Flush n Retreive (Sometimes you dont even need to shoot the Quarry

What a great looking horse, these go really big don't they? sure Ive seen them at the county shows pulling silly loads. Make sure she doesn't take the load off her feet and lean on the Defender, make a hell of a dent. Stu |

Yes they are a heavy draught horse and weigh around 900 - 1000kg, I can personally vouch that it hurts like hell if one stands on your toes! Despite its popularity as a working horse in years gone by the Suffolk Punch is now a rare breed and on the critical list. Steve.
