Reclassify .22 pistols as Section 1 epetition. Please sign.
Please sign the following epetition;-

The Home Office should reclassify .22 calibre pistols as Section 1 firearms. This would permit legitimate sportsmen & sportswomen to practice competitive target shooting sports as require by many disciplines, including Olympic qualification, in this country. There would be no risk to the public, sporting firearms are not linked to criminal activity.

Many thanks.

Didn't Jeremy Bamber allegedly use a .22 to kill his family?

You have more chance of seeing God than getting a law change on this. Don't waste your time signing things which will lead exactly nowhere.

That's not what I said. I was merely pointing out that your apparent attempt at disproving the OP was factually incorrect.

Of course, any manner of things can be deadly if used with that intention (or carelessly). Darren

As said before; Guns don't kill, it's the people behind them that use them to kill. A gun on it's own is just an ornament, an inanimate object.

Thank the lefties for this situation we are now in where only criminals and muppets (police) have guns.

USA have much better laws on this, castle doctrine, stand your ground etc. They also fry/inject scum who get convicted which helps with recidivism rate! Not like over here where pedo's, rapists, murderers get a few years on the playstation.

Ted Nugent has it right in my opinion.
