110 xs wiper fault
ok dec 2011 110

i have this wiper fault, on intermitent wipe sometimes the wipers rest half way up the screen,continue with same delay,just now and again stop halfway up screen.also when you push the washer and wipers go in their cycle,every now and again wipers stop further up the screen.

main dealer reckons new motor ( under warranty ) seems more of a relay/timing issue to me as wipers work ok when when on normally

thoughts?

Mine went in for this about 6 weeks ago and i asked the same question. Others here told me it was the park switch, which is was and replaced under warranty.

that sounds to me more likely but i dont really know

dealer had vehicle for 20mins last friday for diagnosis and said wiper motor !!, is the park switch integrated with the motor?

Yes. If they want to replace the whole motor under warranty then let them. Darren
