Advice with Heritage light grill please
Ordering the puma gaitor and gear knob from landrover tuning and was thinking of the heritage light grill as well.
Does anyone have pictures of them on a white defender? And any thoughts of how it will look
Thanks

I'm don't usually like stuff like this but they look OK to me, shame they haven't got a rim around the edge and it's really bad they couldn't put them on straight Rolling Eyes Much prefer the originals though Whistle

Also a shame they bought the WIPAC crystals with the pilot light slots, then left the bulbs out Whistle

Agree with the comment on the grill.

The world has gone to the dogs.

Surely any decent grill should be able to be used as a BBQ as well? Whistle Very Happy 1970 Series 2A 88"

I know what you mean Zag, I also appreciate the stock look it gives the defender more class. BUT I have this obsessive nag in my head that things should be symmetrical and my brain goes over the silliest details. and when i saw the edges by the radiator grill Shocked I nearly trimmed them off today Rolling with laughter

That's only because you have the air-con front end, with the standard front end the light surrounds run into the main grille and it looks proper as it's all one black "piece" all the way along.

Remember this vehicle was designed in the early 80s, that's 30 years ago, and the front end design hasn't changed since then (if we ignore the SVX etc. abortions) so trying to make it look too modern is urinating somewhat in the direction of the wind Razz

It's the droopy wing ailment which most of us have that makes the surrounds not square on - Some have successfully straightened the wing. I may have a go at mine one day, maybe packing it with a couple of washers might do the trick Wink

Same...

It really shows how out of true they are when you see how badly they line up with the bumper!
