Hey all.
I know some people have changed their interior door handles to stop hitting their leg on the things. I need to replace mine due to losing the cappings. Im in a 300tdi and wondered wether anyone had any recommendations. Should i go oem or are their better versions that i can fit? Thanks. Steve |

Just this morning installed these leather ones from Nakatenga. Easy fit and they are absolutely superb, a vast improvement over the hard plastic original ones. I know they are available in UK from one of the site sponsors, but forgot exactly who. There recently was a thread about it. If the site sponsor in question reads this they can give you a shout...

The Nakatanenga leather ones
are £22 per pair plus postage if required. Just sold out but hoping to get new stock in shortly. MudUK ones are £8.75 each. Am calling in to see Kev at Mud on Saturday so if people want me to pick some up for them. Very happy with my Nakatananga handles - they look fantastic and make the door card look much better (but they probably stick out as far as the original plastic ones, and don't have much give). If you've

Hi,
maybe a stupid question, but does anyone have some kind of long time experience with the mud ones, does the fabric start hanging down and not looking that fresh anymore after a while? Cheers with a glass of chilean wine Oskar |

Nothing IMHO. Steve. Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

Standard ones do the job perfectly well - they're just not as lovely as those made of saddle leather! Peter

There was a time when everything on a Land Rover would be fixed with baler twine or gaffer tape At least baler twine comes in a variety of colours, I've always favoured the orange stuff. Barbara |

I have the mud ones fitted for a few months now and have had no problem with it, the passenger side does hang down a bit but that's because i didn't shorten thm enough I just need to unscrew it shorten with a knife or scissors and burn the frilly edges and rescrew them on but.... i can't be bothered. passengers never complained if they do they can trim it to their liking 2012 Fuji White 110 Flattened |
