Yes its almost back to former glory. New bumper, grill and repaired and resprayed grill surround all fitted. Just waiting for some Mantec stainless A bar top brackets to replace the original plastic items which disintegrated. There is a slight ripple in the side of the front wing, but its so slight it might be 'normal'. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

After 3 months of hearing absolutely nothing I decided to call my insurance company yesterday to find out if anything happened.
The reason I did this was to get the correct information for insurance on another vehicle which asks "have you or anyone else that drives the vehicle had an accident resulting in a claim within the last x years". As I did not know whether the 3rd party had claimed anything from my insurance, I did not want to say 'Yes' if he hadn't. It turns out that he has been paid out £4500, made up of £2000 for his van, which was written off, the rest is hire charges for a rented van he had whilst all this was sorted out. At least he didn't claim for whiplash or other injuries. I think he did bl00dy well to get 2K for the pile of rust that I hit. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV 1966 S2a 109 aka Betsy 1968 S2a 88 aka Bob 2014 Jaaaag F Type 3.0 Supercharged. |
