I had my S2A waxoyled for this. I was thinking about Zagato's recommendations for Dinitrol, talcum powdering its bottom carefully, etc. etc. as well. 1970 Series 2A 88"

Luke you can't do much better than getting under it with a paint brush and a pot of POR-15, it will be done for life apart from cavity top ups. The Dinitrol kit has everything as you know as well as a can of rust converter to sort any existing spots, it's mucky but not hard to do
Anti-Corrosion protection seems to be from 250 - 800 Main thing is to not take it to someone who cleans and treats in a days it takes 24hrs with hot blower to 5 days drying naturally for the inside of a chassis Good luck hunting for a nice one, I'm afraid all I see are corroded ones on forecourts Nothing a can of ACF-50 and Dinitrol won't sort out though |

Thanks, Zagato. Next job is to learn which end of a paintbrush to hold. Will also be worth pointing out areas of corrosion to LR dealers when it comes to that time, might be a bargaining point! 1970 Series 2A 88" |

You need to do the inside of the chassis as well as the outside.
Remove all internal side panels and treat inside and outside of body and door frames. Best done by a professional. |

Or you could go to one of the plethora of custom builders, and have a new Defender built to your spec, based on a Galvanized chasis from new
