Hi dgardel, Will the front slot fit a full single din head unit? I am thinking of an overhead console like this that would take one of the units with the drop down screen for the GPS and everything else built in, my concern is how stable is it and can it take the weight, would not want it to come down while driving over the corrugations. Something like this or similar. http://cylink.en.alibaba.com/productshowim...h_GPS.html Thanks Pat Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

Pat,
the console is very strong, strong enough for every electronics..... And, yes, the slot is a full 1 din unit but I'm thinking that the position is no "ergonomic" for a GPS.... too much high. Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition IID Pro MV License |
