Driveway sealant?
Can anyone recommend a good sealant for my new block paved drive?

I intend to have it sealed with a matt sealant once the efflorescence has dissapeared. Ive heard good things about Resiblock, anyone used this or similar?

Ive used Thompson block paving sealant, it goes on easy dries quickly but on my drive needs re-doing every 12 months, it does make clearing up oil marks realy easy as the oil doesnt penetrate the blocks, it also cleans off with white spirits, on the patio I can get away with re application every 2 years not tried anything else as Im happy with the results. They do 2 types "one coat" and normal Ive tried both types but think 2 coats of the normal actually give better results as its thinner and appears to penetrate the blocks better. You wont regret doing it whatever you use. I have managed to spill all sorts of things on my drive and its not yet been damaged beyond wiping up with petrol or white spirits. DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy

I notice a couple of drip trays under your truck Warpig, how often do you have to empty them out?

Very observant of you chief stoker, I have a 'waste oil' lorry turn up twice a day to empty them Laughing

Im hoping a sealant will greatly help the leaning process if ever I get any oil leaks on the drive.

Thanks, I'll add Thompsons to the list of possibles. Does it have a matt or gloss finish?

A good coating of Tarmac will keep it looking smart for years!

I need some oil stains off the drive, from the previous dwellers nail!
