Replacing Rear Brake TD5
Hi,

My rear brakes are in need of replacement, inc discs, caliper and pads.

My first thought is to replace with original LR parts, but just thought I'd ask what others would advise.

I do litte tarmac road mileage and mainly gentle green laning.

cheers

Another job on my TD5 90 project list Thumbs Up

In my opinion, unless you want to upgrade the brakes, I would go with OEM.

For example, discs are about £50 OEM as opposed to aftermarket at about £20.

I would not trust non OEM unless it was a respected brand, and they would then probably cost a lot more.

Yes, my preference is to use OEM parts, certainly for safety critical items.
