Hi all,
A little advice if possible. Discovered a small leak from the rear diff at the weekend on my 61 plate 2.4. Obviously I can get it fixed under warranty, but I would rather take it to an independent than the dealer (who anyway are rather a long way from home). The indy is here: http://www.lrsengineering.co.uk/ Can I do this without affecting the warranty? Also the oil coming out looks pretty back and dirty for only 3500 miles. Can I get them to do an oil change for both diffs as part of the warranty claim? Thanks in advance. |

Sometimes a diff oil leak means the pinion is not properly tight. Puma 110" SW
