Winter salt has corroded the ally cassing and the motor bearings are a propper mess, linings on discs blistersd and distorted. Cheaper to find a new one If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

Yup, that's the trouble with the cheaper Warn winches. Although I have a 9000 on the Disco, I would never buy another - Superwinch Husky is the way to go. |

I am looking at either the goodwinch g5 9500i from David Bowyer or a Champion winch from Extream both the same sort of money. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

Well that's an easy answer.
1. Goodwinch are brill and David Bowyer is great to deal with - have a look at the TDS Goldfish. 2. Champion are cheap and there's a lot of information about Extreme and the owner kicking around if you care to look |

Good winch is most likely the route i am going down just cheking that it fits my bumper with out to much drilling and or cutting.
My heavy duty springs and anti roll bar are coming from Extream, i get on ok with them no problems with any of my srings on the TD5 or this Puma. The new one i am going for bigger roll bar than last time and slightly heavier springs than last time. Should be good. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.
