Sorry for being lazy. Can anyone tell me how much oil I need to put back in for an oil and filter change please ?

Depends on your engine, Tdi, Td5, Tdci,..... cannot see that in your post. But,.... in all cases, exactly up to the upper mark on your dipstick

your profile says 2.4 puma, so its 7 litters every time, though I have found a little settling has been needed before there is room for the last half litre,
HTH p.s if you speak to opie oil who are great people by the way, you can get some mixed up amounts, I think the day they put the fluid capacities for the 2.4 puma into there data base some one had a cold, there all there not quite in the correct order, aside from that the place to go ! Mark |

that's a worry! mine is a tad over the full mark when changed by the dealer - when hot. what happens if you overfill and how much is too much?? thanks BM52 |
