Spent most of the time under the Landy removing prop shafts and trying to trace a drive line clunking noise.

just back from YOG, despite the fuel issues we arrived friday night just in time for a beer with Brendan. seems to be loads of diesel in Yorkshire
for a small gathering of land rover types together with camping, beer and chat it turned out totally excellent. Leeds, TrekOverland and others all put on a great show - bought a load of goodies for the project 110 including a bluesea 6 way fuse box with a -ve buz bar, entreq door kit and more. Leeds had quite alot of entreq kit on show including new bonnet chequer plate, fcg's, and door openers, fridges, ropes even saw an axe .. good to see such a selection of vehicles there, a g4 130, 90/300 galv, evoke, old ones with curved roofs (can't remember thier names), series 1,2,3 etc... also trekover land kit on show including trailers, storage and expo. kit. good job Brendan, Barbara, Andy, Vicky, Claire |

Started work on the new (old) 90.
Mudflaps fitted in place of the brackets, wiper park switch replaced. Then took the drivers door card off to investigate why the inner window seal was flapping about - mistake Top inner door frame has split in two, not rust just a clean split Looks like a casting to me so not sure how it was welded to either end of the main frame. I think a trip to Ashtree in Andover is on the cards for a new door. Then decided to check the oil, good job it's going for a major service in two weeks - 2.5 litres of oil later it was on the dipstick Engine sounds even better now Bob 2015 Jaguar XE240 R Sport - goes like ....... !! 2013 Defender 90 CSW - sold 2009 Defender 110 Double Cab - sold 2001 TD5 90 CSW - offroad project - sold to a forum member 2011 Porsche Boxster - for the sunny days ! |

Went and got hold of a trailer and took a trip to Wrexham to pick up the ex's Freelander. It needs a MoT, brakes sorted and other odd things. I am doing this as she's short of money(as we all are ) but my kids are sometimes in that car and I want to know that it has been done properly not by a fleece merchant who cuts corners that she would be oblivious to.
Must admit the combination did look tasty Big load on the way up...........bed for the youngest as he's stopping untill Thursday and replacement wheels, a pushbike Click image to enlarge Back home ready to unload Click image to enlarge The 110 performed faultlessly, kept up with the traffic, in fact we were being held up from doing speed limits by people with nothing better to do than dawdle Towed better with a load on and for those that know it, we came over Dinmore Hill on the way back at 42mph in fourth with no hassle  Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

Just got back from YOG, camped in -3 degrees, Mrs Greeni didn't complain once
Met loads of people and came back with more stuff than I went with...Thanks Cobs for bringing wheels up. All in all, a very chilled (pardon the pun) and enjoyable weekend I'll get my photo's up for all to enjoy tomorrow. Well done, as bpman said to Brendan and Barbara, Andy and Vicky, Claire. Also Kevin from Mud, who may be graced with lots of hard earned cash, if I can persuade Mrs Greeni |
