Guys, seriously - yes of course it was utterly stupid and entirely her own fault, but FFS, the poor woman has got 40% burns and will probably be disfigured and in pain for life. Whatever happened to compassion? Fully Restored 89 110 CSW V8

CLS 350 CDI for the sensible stuff

Very true. Petrol can be lethal! Glad the Defender is diesel to be honest but still not that much difference. Even a minor burn is painful enough! Sad

I feel tremendous compassion for the poor woman but still find the event itself very amusing.
I guess it's a bit like slapstick comedy (laugh at the situation but not the pain) - Freud would probably call it "dissociation" or something like that... Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Her kitchen will probably be awarded a Michelin 4 star rating now.

Would it help if I put 4 star in inverted commas?

And petrol rating............4 star.

Joking apart, a terrible accident to happen to the lady. Not the most sensible thing to be doing in the kitchen though.
