ok, i give up, how do I insert a picture of my window seal?[/url]

Upload it to the gallery and then copy the string that it gives you. There's probably a smarter way but I'm a simple chap. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS
+ New Defender 110 First Edition

The doors have drain holes / slots in the bottom to permit water to drain out. You won't get a totally water tight seal between the glass, seal and frame.

Agreed, one can never gat a 100% water seal, however the seal does not even touch the top of the paintwork, so every drop of water will end up in the door. Spoke to the dealer today. LR have agreed to pay for remedial work. They are going to grind the upstand where the seal fits onto down to lower the sal, so it will touch the door. Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me, some muppet with an angle grinder. They are bound to slip & totally f*** the doors up.

Yeah, I agree. I might just pug up the gaps with mastic. I cannot see how they can grind down the top, the lip goes right to the edeges, no way to get a grinder in there. A dremel maybe.

Have hunted all over t'internet to try and find a similar seal but with a longer skirt, but alas no luck.
