Likewise ... always used to, but fed up spending bloody hours in traffic to get there, then being surrounded by milions of other trippers invading MY space Evil or Very Mad

Easter is just a 'chill' weekend for me now .... Cool Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.

The Hants and Berks Club are at Hogmoor Inclosure near Bordon on the 8th.

Along with the public drive round we are also holding a navigation event - details below.

I am on Hogmoor tomorrow to recce the placement of the letterboard / punches and grid references.

Mark

RTV & Drive around day at Hogmoor Enclosure (including Navigational Event)
No matter what you drive, as long as it’s a 4x4 you are welcome to come and join the Hants & Berks Land Rover Owners Club at there:

April drive around day (and Navigation Exercise) at the Hogmoor enclosure, Near Bordon, Hampshire On Sunday 8th April 2012 ~ 10am to 3pm

Hogmoor offers a wide variety of terrain to suit all levels of off road ability.A perfect introduction to off roading for novice drivers through to some more tricky bits for the more experienced driver.

£25 gets you entry to the venue and all the off roading you can handle!

We will also be offering all drive around entrants (at no additional cost) the opportunity to take part in 3 navigational exercises (so bring a pen and a highlighter):
1) A navigational exercise to collect way point information (in sequence)
2) A 'scatter' event collecting as much way point information as possible (in any order)
3) An orienteering event using various route instructions to collect way point information (in sequence)

If you are not a member of an MSA affiliated 4x4 club you will need to join ours this can be done on the day for an additional fee of £5

The event is open to all types/makes of road legal 4x4 vehicles up to a max gross weight of 3.5 tonnes (sorry no quads).

A recovery point on the rear of your vehicle is a must (a tow bar is sufficient) and a front recovery point is helpful but not a requirement.
