So, here I am working from home, Friday morning, on a conference call, looked out of the window at the golf course...9 sheep pitched up ( no pun intended) enjoying a laze around in the sun:
Click image to enlarge Then they decided to have a play in the bunker of the 9th hole: Click image to enlarge A few minutes later, the were right outside my lounge window: Click image to enlarge I tried to round them up, back onto the Golf Course: Click image to enlarge We told the farmer (well MrsK rang the golf club, and they informed the farmer). Apparently the shortage of snow and rain here means the livestock are able to cross the Spey River (usually big and wide)... Whilst I realise some fellow Defender2 friends are much more familiar with livestock, this was a bit of an experience for me! Made a nice change from normal Friday emails, conference calls & Admin... You should of kept them in for a bit.....save getting the mower out !

thats the trouble with living in the countryside. Standing outside the back door one night I heard the sound of munching. When I got the torch I found five cows in my garden ! The guy who owned them didn't fetch them until the following afternoon

I used to be a shepherd and used to take half a dozen home every so often for that purpose. I did it when the wife was at work but she allways knew somehow I think it was the fact that they would eat the flowers first |
