lovely warm sunny day here for a change so I sealed around the windscreen and all the foam strip areas with black Tec - 7. What a messy disgusting job. Noticed that my usually wet footwells have dried out all by themselves.

When I shoved the gun nozzle into the screen rubbers I noticed that there was still water in the bottom corners. Hope I haven't just sealed it in Shocked

I ran black sealant between tub and hardtop to cover the foam gasket. looks better too.

Well today I decided it was time to take the defender for a drive after almost 6 weeks of it hiding in the garage, took a trip to Henley-on-Thames. Turned out it was the royal Henley reggatta!

Good day out and even got a few waves from passing defenders Thumbs Up Russell

Attacked my rear cross member today with wire brush and different rattle tins. It's really tidied up the rear end and all the residents of my street have had to retire to thier houses for varying measures of stiff drinks through shock Whistle Friday I coloured in the chequer plate on the bonnet and wing tops plus an oil and filter change, yesterday it had a wash and today the rear X member. I might even be rash and give the winch bumper a quick blast tomorrow Shocked

I'm sure it's because there's too much sun Shocked

Parked her up at Bicester North station and then hopped on the train to Wembley to watch Swindon lose in the JPT final. Sad

Putting the result to one side..... a good day out in the sunshine and first time to the new Wembley for me and first time ever to Wembley for the pup. Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless.

Just back from Sherwood and a great weekend of mountain bike racing. Pulled the trailer unbelievably well and got loads of looks from visitors (almost as many people asked me about the Defender as did about my bike range!). The Defender love was apparent amongst the mountain bikers! She's not old...just older

Shame the door card has to be cut, I think there is one on the market where you don't need to cut anything!

Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed Shame on me! Feel very very blond Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed I looked at the fitting instructions on internet somewhere and the guy there had to cut the door card. Didn't check myself first Shocked Big Cry
Today I glued the missing piece in (lucky I did not throw it away yet), must see if I can get another door card later Big Cry
