Fitted the Nakatanenga gas strut on the back door
Lovely weather for a little job on the landy today: fitted the Nakatanenga gas strut on the back door. Very pleased with the result.

Shame the door card has to be cut, I think there is one on the market where you don't need to cut anything!

no need to cut the door card, though I might as the MSS box I have sits skew in the rear so might play a bit tomorrow.

lovely warm sunny day here for a change so I sealed around the windscreen and all the foam strip areas with black Tec - 7. What a messy disgusting job. Noticed that my usually wet footwells have dried out all by themselves.

When I shoved the gun nozzle into the screen rubbers I noticed that there was still water in the bottom corners. Hope I haven't just sealed it in Shocked

found this kit at VWP - works out much cheaper than buying the individual connectors
