Said nothing about selling your Land Rover. I was suggesting car shares, motorbikes, public transport, different job...... or a pay rise to cover the fuel hike Mr. Green 2005 TD5 90 Hard Top

Freelander ?
Only £142.9 near here - if on M25 going anti-clockwise take exit for Dartford Junction2, 1st petrol station on the left as head into Dartford. Think its £140.9 at Asda otherside of Bluewater shopping centre - but its that poor quality stuff the supermarkets sell.

Cheapest way is to probably buy Jap. Or get someone else to drive you in their car... Laughing
Although my 90 is my work vehicle so its £80 a week in diesel Evil or Very Mad And agree would not drive anything else, although I might have to beef up my front bumper - could have destroyed 2 Jap motors this afternoon --- toss3rs -- count to 5 and breathe...

I'm getting about 80MPG on my commute to work!
I don't use the Defender though, 50cc scooter so I'm down to less than 1 tank a month.

....and no increase on pensioners' personal allowance to help cover it

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green
