Hi Ken... just thought there was a more discerning buyer on here. I had a Browning on GT for a month a few years ago and all i got offered was lads wanting to swap or trade in vehicles against the gun. I really have no use for another Astra with an exhaust like a chimney! 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

When you sell a gun is it the responsibility of the seller to register the transfer to a new owner, or do they just get bought and sold and it's up to the buyer to register it with someone?

No, both parties must within seven days notify thier issuing licencing force of the details of the gun and the name of the seller or buyer. I do it by filling in the form supplied and by email. Also the entry on the SGC/FAC must be marked sold or entered as purchased. Very strict on the accuracy and i once had an entry of a purchase wrongly entered onto my certificate by the police and what a hassle to have the number "5" changed to an "S". 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..
