It looks really nice Pete, all nicely done and he's on top of his mods with the light bar
What are you doing over there It's the highlight of the week if I get to the end of my road at the moment |

Cherrs Zag. I'm in the process of helping our local factory out here to set up an EMC lab, to enable them to perform their own testing in house, rather than subcontracting it all out to a third party, which is very expensive.
Agreed, travelling with work can be a bit of a novelty, but I find it soon wears off and you just want to get home after a while. I've got a 4 day meeting in Austin TX to do after this, and then 10 days in Florida before I get home. Pete |

It's a hard life JSG and others who used to travel a lot said it was great at first but as you say the novelty wears off. I'm just going for a wander up to the end of the road now to see how the rest of the world is Enjoy the rest of the trip

Cheers BP. Depending on whos statistics you take notice of, there's between 6 million and 8 million people living in this city, and so far, I've seen 1 Defender. If Chris is out here in his, I've probably got a pretty godd chance of spotting him as most of the population ride mopeds

Yup, the novelty wears off. Having said that - I'm in Bangalore all this week and then Gurgaon all next week. At least I don't have to travel as much as I used to. It's been 30 degrees plus today so the hotel's poolside bar looked inviting this evening ... As BP man says I am in Jakarta at the moment. No car or driver - I have to take taxis wherever I go. I do see the odd land rover especially at the weekend. (I am in South Jakarta, staying at Kristal Hotel and working at Arkadia building).
The traffic is getting worse everyday with increasing numbers of motorcycles. 2009 110 SVX 60th Anniversary - Santorini Black |

Hi Chris. Good luck with the taxis! I've been reccommended to only use the 'Blue Bird' ones, although I haven't needed to yet.
I'm working in East Jakarta over on EJIP, and was staying in the Sahid Lippo over there, although I'm shortly going to be moving to the Ritz-Carlton downtown for the last couple of days. Enjoy yourself and avoid those mopeds! Pete |

I saw this in the car park at work (Jakarta). Found out that the owner is a colleague! It is a modified 1982 Series 3. Through him I found out that a lady on my floor has a 1991 double cab. They both belong to Land Rover Club Indonesia. Their website can be found at www.landroverclubindonesia.org
