Weekend with 130 and camper in Great Langdale NT campsite.
Saturday walking up to Stickle Tarn then onto Pavey Ark and back down between Harrison Stickle and Pike o'Stickle. (mixed weather, hot and dry to start, then rain, then sleet & mist, then clear and dry again - typical day in the lakes) Sunday a morning kayak training on Coniston as we have just got ourselves one and needed some training. Last Sunday we did Snowdonia Adventure Drive and proved that a 130 will go where ever a 110 will, just it takes a few more goes to finally get it to the top. We did it with a couple of work colleagues in their 90's, had excellent time and excellent company, Landcraft marshalls were great. Will post some photos when sd card, laptop and myself next meet up. (I'm sure there must be a way of posting pictures from an iPad but I have not figured it out yet) Richard 130 Puma HCPU with an Artica 240LR Demountable Camper |

Pinched the stove from the boat to try it out for the first time, goes in the back of the 110 nicely and I'll buy a little table for it. It works with Meths and heats up a small pan of water in no time Great bit of kit, not sure how well it would cope on a windy day though
Tha canisters are filled with meths then put in the stove - simple! Fits in 110 rear. Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

Fitted x6 LED amber flashers to the roof-rack - then spent the day supporting a half marathon road race with DC4x4 response.
Lights were only £25 from Brightlitz and are brill! 3 setting and easy to fit (unless you are a total electrical numpty like me!) Snowdonia Drive 130 just failing to get to the top, next go we did it by keeping further to the right (Marshall's advice) Click image to enlarge Getting ready for another climb over rocky stuff, once again took a few goes and the advice was keep to the right. Click image to enlarge As for Langdale did not take many picture of 130 & camper, even the beauty of a 130 is no match for what nature gave us, this is view across Stickle Tarn towards Pavey Ark. Pics please. Was thinking of those as well for when I tow the horse trailer as there are too many idiots here that will cut you off. Put on blue led strobes on the trailer to keep the idiots behind at bay. Had too many close calls with people and trucks tailgating and pulling out too close and nearly hitting the rear corner 2012 Fuji White 110 Flattened |
