Swivels - Grease or Oil?
Hi, as im going to be changing my swivel seals soon, i am wondering what the swivels were filled with from the factory. ive had a search but have had no joy. if its ment to have oil sloshing round in there i dont want to put grease in Embarassed thanks, Harry

What age/engine? I assume Tdci

Although I think one shot grease is best anyway.

Its all grease now

Land Rover do a one shot grease sachet per side

I use NLGI 000 in the self-lube on our trucks and from BP it is about £2 a litre including VAT. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

There is no mention of checking/changing oil in the swivel housings in the service schedule. The independent I use, uses grease. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
1992 110 200tdi csw -Zikali
2008 110 2.4 tdci csw-Zulu
2011 110 2.4 tdci csw-Masai
