You are correct. The 200 TDI has the air intake onthe near side. The 300 and TD5 are the same

I read somewhere a while back that some 300 Tdi RAI/Snorkels (dependant on the make) can be a bit restrictive with airflow for the Td5 and Puma engines so I would just double check that it's suitable for the Td5 before buying.

Tolley

The original Mantec air metal air intakes were 63mm (outside diameter) but when the TD5 came out they moved to a 70mm (od) pipe based on the requirements from Land Rover. Since then Mantec change all their metal airintakes to that diameter.

Some other makes are still the narrower, should not worry you as you were talking about the Safari version
