loom will have to be made up, unless you wanted to purchase the main vehicle harness Confused https://www.facebook.com/duckworthparts

Warpig, the wiring for the seats is not that difficult, if you want the genuine switches you will have to buy from the dealers.

I have the wiring diagarm for a TD5 and it shows no relays involved if using the genuine bits.

There you go Steve, Just follow the diagram from the fuse, through the switch and to the element.
The black wire is just an earth.
The realy is pre installed and brings a bank of fuses on in the fuse board, and not installed just for the seats, things like the radio, headlights etc come from the same circuit.

Thanks Paul, much appreciated. Going to be putting a day aside soon to wire up the front heated screen, seats, and a few other bits and bobs.

Cheers
Steve. Thumbs Up

How much are the switches? Anything you can do, I can do slower and less efficiently.

I think they are about £50.

For a post-2002 TD5 Defender (and a Discovery II)

The switches are -

Heated Seat Switch LH - YUG102430

Heated Seat Switch RH - YUG102440

Dan, if we buy these switches is there any other special connectors required at either end to wire them up? 2016 D4 HSE

Yeah....not quite £50... £7 is what I've found so far. Anything you can do, I can do slower and less efficiently.
