Part 1 of my video that I took at the factory yesterday. I did the tour and then the track driving in a 110 and then a Range Rover. I had a GoPro Hero HD mounted via suction cup mount on the windscreen. Settings are 1080P but youtube only uploaded 720P. Sound is low due to my fitting the waterproof back plate as a precaution. Not terribly exciting to watch, but it was awesome fun.

Part 2. Includes Jungle track area. Took longer to upload and it seems to have reduced it to 480P from 1080P. |

It was a great day. The factory tour was something I have always wanted to see. We had the track all to ourselves minus a guy who took a whirl in the Series 1 while we were putting around. You can probably see that in the second video. All in all a great time, and seeing the Defender line was surreal. As an American it was like seeing forbidden fruit in arms reach. The 130 double cab getting its roof installed was super cool.

xcelcius, you can change the video quality to 1080p by clicking on the settings icon (little cog symbol)
Ive had my eye onthe HeroHD for a while now, but I see they have relased a new HeroHD2 version. Would you recommend them? |

WarPig, You are totally right. I do it all the time, but for some reason when I went to look at my own videos it slipped my mind, DOH.
I would totally recommend these things. The new one should be easier to change settings with and has a few adjustments that are nice. I have the motorsports kit version with the suction cup mounts and what not. Sometimes there can be a small rattle on the shutter button that is audible during filming over rough stuff, but a small piece of paper solves it for me. I just forgot to stick it in before setting off in the morning. |

Judging by some of the "build quality" issues that we read about then the tour should only take about 15mins!
