At the risk of upsetting some SVX owners here, does anybody know where I can get the SVX aluminium facia, and gear knobs? Part numbers?

If im not mistaken, I think you have to be a registered SVX owner or supply an SVX chassis number when ordering parts, or so ive heard. Don't Bearmach have the aluminum gear knobs etc..? Land Rover's don't leak oil, they simply mark their territory!

hi Grockle, Still at the butchery, should get her back Tuesday next week. £ 100 for a gear knob! WOW. I must admit some of those SVX bits are blooming nice!! not sure if I could part with R 1300.00 for a knob!! Land Rover's don't leak oil, they simply mark their territory!

If you look in the accessory book you can pick up most of the svx things in there...its just the 60th stuff that tent to be restricted so the stickers...but if your friendly with your parts guys they will do it. Mike

If you can afford £868.00 for a gear stick chances are that will be the chauffeur's problem |

Duckworth have got loads of SVX parts in stock. Maybe they have a facia? I thought these were silver painted plastic though? Can't say I've ever got touchy feely with one!
I've had a pair of SVX side steps off them for my 90, as well as the SVX gearbox and transfer box shifters. Talk to them, as I am sure they will give discount to forum users. |
