Ahh...just back from Glasto in my new shiny 90. Was amazad at how many people came over to admire it 
Did not get stuck in the mud like all those big motorhomes te..he..
The new 09 is so different to drive compared to the 07. Much better clutch which is now far less fierce, none of this loss of power at 72mph, when the engine goes to idle and refuses to do anything until berlow 45mph, which is most frightning when towing on motorways, no juddering anymore. It is just a shame the dealer could not fix my 07. But it seems all dealers are just as cr*p. They have my old one on the forecourt, marked up 2k from what they gave me for it & I doubt they have even bothered to try and sort the faults out.
The radio, although looking identical, no longer displays the time or wizzes up the band trying to tune itself when turned on. Although to be fair it used to spend more time saying 'no time' than actually displaying the actual time.
Some berk in the factory was fitting the one way valves on the fuel breather pipes the wrong way round, it is a known fault & LR dealers should be checking it. My fuel filter was full of water & mud, which they changed, they also changed the clutch and slave cylinder, result, = exactly the same faults
It would be good to know what the final fix is for this loss of power at 70+mph. Buying a new LR to sovle the problem is a little excessive

a little excessive but exactly what you did?
got the results you were after though ?
....and some muppet was fitting the breather valves the wrong way round 
my pipe had split anyway so not sure it made too much difference.
It does amaze me that if the new ones are ok, the old ones aren't then surely if LR were to look at the differences between the new and old ones that would give them a pretty good idea of where the problems lie
