Hey. Farmer, thanks. I can already tick two of those option boxes and I'm about to tick the third as picking up Wurzzel's side steps tomorrow.
Thor - I'm in Hanney - I'll be sure to give you a wave or the raised index digit from the steering wheel! |

those side steps will not look as good as a set of rocksliders and if you are going offroad you run the risk of damaging them. i would advise you to sell me the side steps (since you beat me to it in the first place buying them). seriously though, great looking truck. |

Never really understood side steps. I'm only 5'4" and can get in no probs.
Whenever I've driven a Land Rover with side steps they just get in the way when you are getting out - they are never in just the right place for each user - you end up catching your foot on them nearly falling on your arse or bruising your shins.... !! and for off-road they get in the way..... Rock or tree sliders get my vote... |

Er yes. I think the rock sliders on the front cover of the March issue of LRO look cool, but I always use the step to climb in and always find it a bit too far forward. I've got side steps on my Disco 4 and use them everytime and I'm 6ft2 ish! Maybe its my technique?! Anyway, I thought Wurzels were the best looking ones I'd seen - if I change my mind...
By the way, how do you clamber into the back? I slide off the tow bar everytime so am getting a fold-up step there as well. |

Maybe you should take it to 5Alive and get it lowered On a serious note, a NAS rear step bumper will do the trick for rear entry Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated 2009 XS 110 Utility Stornaway Grey BAS re Remap, BAS Turbo, BAS Spec Modified Airbox, Twisted Side exit Decat Exhaust, Allisport Cooler and Hoses, OME Sport Shocks, Kangaroo Paw Discs. 2001 Discovery II Porsche Speedster Replica 1956ish |
