Hi all,
Having undergone a change of employment I really need to get the tacho removed from my 110. I contacted the firm who fitted it, and the figure they quoted to remove it made my eyes water - considering I would sell it on, there wouldn't be a lot of change left from selling it and then paying for the removal. Does anyone know a reasonable south-midlandsish based firm who would do the work for a realistic fee? Indeed, is there anyone on here who could do the work, or indeed might be interested in buying a digital tacho themselves, with fitting kit for a Defender? Price wishing for ?? Rygors in North Swindon are tacho specialists - easy to get to How was it connected ? Are any bits needed to make vehicle back to standard ? |

It cost me £1500 to have it fitted, I realise I won't get all of that back... I think there is a connection to the speedo drive, I have the original speedo drive to return the vehicle to standard. Iknow the had the dash out, but I didn't see them install it so don't know exactly how it was done. Sadly Swindon is even further from me than Mudie-Bond in Oxford. PM me? |
