The Love Bus
Here she is. Old and knackered, but lovely. She's alright on everything but fuel economy due to the dinosaur of a 2.5TD. I'm going to get looking for a 200/300 soon as it is eating my wallet! I need a truck for work - driving through fields, grouse moors, forests and peat bogs for a living means your normal company Audi isn't quite ideal...

Short term jobs
False floor (storing rifles out of sight)
Soundproofing
CD Player
Roofrack
Spots
All wiring and interior up to scratch
Bench seats
Put spare on back door

Long term jobs
Alpine windows
New engine
Proper AT tyres (wranglers on it atm, lots of wear left but limiting for the hills)
Change bench seats for inward facing "county" fold ups
Paint job touch up

Possible jobs
County conversion and sale for something newer
Prep for overlanding - storage, rooftent, dual batteries etc.
Sankey trailer to overlanding trailer project

Sorry for the list, just ended up that way!

She is there isn't she! Must admit I'm impressed with the wrangler tyres. Spent today looking at potential windfarm sites and they coped very well with some pretty rubbish tracks! Good things come to the wild and free
