Air intake noise...
Has anyone noticed the noise the air intake makes (offside wing) on the new Puma engine. My DC XS sounds like a ruddy Subaru Impreza under hard acceleration!!!

Anyone else had this prob, or is it normal.

I think it sounds more like the Jetsons' car from the cartoon...

...but with decent air conditioning I hardly ever have the window open any more so I don't often hear it. 2007 Defender 110

I like it! Very Happy Sounds like the thing will benefit from a nice free flow filter to let it breath more easily.
Anybody know of any for this engine?

JE Engineering sell itg air filters. The new Defender air filter is the same size as the TD5 so I presume it will fit Whistle

The puma filter is a slightly different size unfortunately, and although it is possible to "fold" a TD5 one in there, it is not nice.
