Okay, back to real BBQs then and the topic I seem to have been responsible for starting, the Braai is simply fantastic as a mobile unit that is also DESIGNED for burning logs once the food has been cooked.

The two accessories I bought were the log grid, which elevates the logs off the bottom of the Braai to assist airflow and the warming rack which straddles the legs underneath the firebox and works brilliantly well at keeping food warm.

The only thing I have added is a plumbers brazing mat which I put under the Braai to prevent grass from scorching - which worked a treat. Maybe Brendan can give me a deal on the rotisserie kit by way of commission! Whistle

In short, this is exactly the BBQ I have been looking for over the last few years as I go camping most weekends through the summer.

Oh and by the way Zag, the best self lighting charcoal briquettes are 'Heat Beads' which stay hot for hours on end, but be sure you get the self lighting ones!! Often sold at Waitrose, and I think Weber do to same thing but branded as Weber.

Happy Cooking!! Thumbs Up 2009 XS 110 Utility Stornaway Grey

Reclaimed from a completed building site (with permission).

The Barrow-BQ concentrates heat for cooking with it's sides and can be filled full of wood for burning. What's more, if you want to move it mid-fire, you can.

Dutch oven and tripod sit perfectly above it as well.

If anybody wants one of these, I've got one they can have, used twice.

This is the BBQ I had yesterday on my Webber. Not very transportable but it does a good job of cooking a joint of beef.....

Glad you're all enjoying the experience!! Has anyone bought the spit roast attachment yet - maybe that should be my commission....

I can always talk boats if that's what you need!

Cheers
