Has any one thought about making a detachable sway bar linkage for the puma, something like this http://www.rangerovers.net/rrupgrades/suspension/swaydiscon.html

I took the rear sway bar off the Disco because it kept hitching itself up on the axle pivots after strenuous off road driving. I had polyair bags on the rear so a lot of the sway was taken up by those.
I would be cautious about any modification to the standard arrangement due to Insurance/Liability issues that might be brought up incidentally to its removal...at least without having an engineering certificate for the mod. Mahn '08 Defender 110 ex '95 Disco 300 Tdi www.aulro.com |

Been curious about this since I got the Puma. My old 2000 model TD5 didn't come with sway bars so why would having disconnects be a problem with the Puma?
TC is nice (I had a bit of a play this weekend) but keeping the wheels on the ground is better IMHO. Anyone done this mod? |

Have a look at what SimonR of X-Eng designed and now sells through Foundry 4x4 here
Not used them myself but do know Simon's gear is good. Saw them in action at an LRW photo shoot but nothing too extreme was attempted. Brendan |

Actually I think you'll find its fits all 110s and only 90's pre td5
