Well I think its a personal thing, but there were quite a few wxamples of how there are failure from all brands after time and if they are overloaded etc I persinally like toyote but no seven seaters and my toyota mechanic friend here does do very well fixing them as well as Landrovers!!!, |

That may be the case. But when you do break your 4x4 Jeeptoyotaaudimitsubishimastif off road they will invalidate your warranty because you used it off road. Land Rover however will collect/recover you from wherever you are and fix the problem FOC. |

Interesting talking to a person here who installs extra fuel filters on cars and tractors, he was called by a farmer with a new 70 series V8 diesel
Put in some fuel with water from a farm tank, engine farted etc but he got away with it, just as well apparently 8 new injectors fuel rail tank etc is at present NZ$40000!!!!!, he wanted an extra filter put in for protection as the system may only have one filter? , anyway rang toyota NZ tech, they do not want to be involved, the filter guy said I know of 2 other v8s with problems like this, toyota guy said said he knows of up to 9 others!!! in NZ, its not a warranty problem so bye bye, So the new V8 engine had a fault with the wrong piston rings which were glazing up the bores and using a sump full of oil in 500km, this they had to fix and have a mod for this but boy if you are unlucky with bad fuel bye bye car!!! At least even the new puma has a better filtering system!! apparently corect me if I am wrong THe toyota guy admitted new Hi lux costs about $18000 and they have problems with these also, all admited off the record of course Interesting!!!! |
