Reason I ask is that I seem to recall it being owned by the guy we bought our TR110 from - live up norf in the borders IIRC. John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |

Yep - he'd done the same to the TR110.
I think he's sold the Ibex now as well. John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |

No, that was probably Andy Hogg's 250S. I've not heard from him in ages but last time we spoke he still had it. As I said, there were four of them built up by Maddison 4x4 with the 6.2 GM diesel and GM auto box, not sure if anyone else built any. The Redpath one also has a supercharger and has full King coilover suspension with hydraulic bump stops and Dynatrac axles. It's been effectively retired from UK challenge competition as it's too big and heavy and panels weer too expensive, replaced by a TD5 90. It did compete in the Outback Challenge in 2003, 2005 and 2008 though, retiring from the 2008 event after it sucked up some water through the snorkel. Three of them were originally in Team Ibex colours - Yellow and Green and were 250S king cab models. The fourth is a 5 door model hard top. One of the three King Cabs has since had the GM removed and it's been replaced with a 300TDi. |

More "Team Ibex" pictures... they all had twin snorkels for the 6.2 which went through two air filters (one each) into a single manifold on top of the engine.
