If it is no remapped, chech the EGR valve.....

1. Switch off the engine
2. disconnect the EGR valve electric connector
3. Test drive

4. Switch off the engine
5. connect the EGR connector

if at point 3 the flat spot is disapeared, it is the EGR Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition

1. Switch off the engine
2. disconnect the EGR valve electric connector
3. Test drive

4. Switch off the engine
5. connect the EGR connector

I would suggest that you confirm the EGR is working first before disconnecting the EGR plug. Check that it completes the self test cycle (5x chukka chukkas) then disconnect. That way you know that the EGR valve is closed. If it is at fault you should have other symptoms though Confused
