Many people are happy to pay 1-2K extra for a vehicle that has been checked mechanically and ID wise You should get peace of mind and it can save a lot of time and money trapezing up and down the country looking for a decent one. The traders can also make on any trade in...
What are you moving onto Bigee? |

That's the trouble, they're like a girls car now full of prams and brats, two a penny around here and they are not looked after. It's like bumper cars in the morning, they just shunt each other to park and the doors are always opened onto each other If only the husbands new

Trouble is we have recently moved to wales..from London..and 'need' (according to SWMBO) to travel back several times a year. We need a Landrover for where we live but also something a 'bit' more comfortable/quicker for trips,we also have a W8 Passat, but good as this is,i figure something like a Disco would be a one size fits all car

I drove a d3 on the land rover day down in Devon, nice, well equipped and comfortable cars. can do pretty much anything a defender can (except look cool) but there is a down side to d3's, they cost shed load of cash when/if they go wrong.
I'd have one as a second car, but I'd miss my defenders too much PS: who's idea was it to move to Wales ? |

D3's look much nice than D4's and they messed the look up of the new RR also
Good luck the hunt for a nice D3, suggest looking outside of Surrey |

Bigee we had a D3 for exactly those reasons - travelling from West Sussex to Pembrokeshire on a regular basis - but have just sold it for another Defender
Picking up a 90 Hard Top on Saturday and will do the long distance travelling in the DC and shorter London trips in the 90 Defender 110 Puma Utility XS |
