the anti-corrosion inspection????????????
I think thats why they employ steve wonder at my dealership, lets face it some of the "fitters" because thats what they are, couldn't find there behind with both hands have a crawl around before you go, even better, go in your scruff and crawl under and show them, if you park out front they soon usher you inside and get straight on with it Mark |

When I asked for the corroded screen hinges, and other parts, to be dealt with, I was told that they don’t count because they are “bolted on parts”. So all it covers is the chassis then?

Yes, make sure you get it stamped. I had one or two of the services done by an independent on my last Puma and always had either them stamp it or took it to a main dealer for them to stamp. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

Harwoods Edenbridge, inspected mine and stamped my book. Corrosion on mine Your havin a giraffe
Looked at a 60 plate, just brown rust underneath, every rivet was rusty in the middle, rear window sliding catches had bubbled already, rear capping had brown rust staining coming from underneath etc etc Shame It only takes half a day to treat all this and prevent or stop the rot Different when it's a working vehicle on lease I suppose, but still.... |
