Apparently Mrs Greeni says we need to buy the house before I indulge in a 110 or 130
![]() I just found a perfect 110 DC as well ![]() http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2008-LAND-ROVER-..._726wt_922 |

I looked long and hard at that advert as its the TDCI copy of mine and would have been a nice way to move to the TDCI.
Shame I cannot afford it at present. I did try to contact the seller for a little bit of information on the rear ladders, but he didn't answer. Ho hum. 2002 Defender 110 DC |

Im sure the ladders are Patriot? I would have it Ben, I would have a Td5, but it seems pointless to step 'sideways'...even though the td5 is far superior
![]() 120% mortgage Brendan...... I'd just have an Expedition Mog ![]() I do like it... I also believe that all things happen for a reason, so after the house is bought something better will come along. I hope ![]() |

Greeni
They are the standard ladders for the Patriot rack, but like me he also has fitted a swing away wheel carrier, which means that the ladders fould one side. I have chosen not to use ladder whereas he seems to have cut his. Before I cut mine I wouldn't have minded a few close up pictures. 2002 Defender 110 DC |

I reckon I wouldn't put anything heavy on the back of that rack...seems a shame hack them...cant you put an extra 'knuckle' on the swing away?

Not in the way mine fits unfortunatly.
Its a toss up between hacking the ladder or a new wheel carrier. 2002 Defender 110 DC |

I think it would be difficult to have any swingaway wheel carrier PLUS a roof rack ladder on the offside
However since this support and side ladder is available on a 130 would this work? ![]() Click image to enlarge The rear support is not listed on the Patriot website. If anyone would like me to investigate further give me a shout as we are Patriots resellers. Brendan |

Thanks Brendan,
The ladder could be hacked to fit, simly removing the lower rungs and one side of the support off. The 130 rear supports might work but it looks like it attaches to the outer edge of the load bed. Patriot were kind enough to send me some bungs to fit into the tubes if/when I do make the cut. 2002 Defender 110 DC |

Patriot can supply rear supports that fit with an IW canopy and allow the rear flap to be opened (for obvious reasons ladders can't be fitted). I have these on my DC and they are fine with my Sonic wheel carrier.
They support the rack directly from the crossmember. |

Cheers BW,
I have had a look at those too, but there is no direct line from the roof to the cross member so do think they would work. Someone on here has now bought the rack and suppled a few pictures of the modification, so I sould be able to do the same on mine. 2002 Defender 110 DC |
