Today we bought our cold weather layers today from cotswold camping store.
MrsBPMan has a mountain equipment 650 rated coat + pro-fleece + merino base layers I got a Rab 650 rated coat + merino base layers but MrsBP was not keen on the mountain equipment fleece, so will continue to look around. Looking forward to hearing the stories from the Mutrut team when they return from Nordkapp |

How many sleeps until you go.
Merino wool great stuff but I had an allergic reaction, itched like hell. |

I used a pair of fleece lined Viking boots when I was there last Xmas, -30 on a snowmobile no problem. Simlar to TNF lined hedgehog boots. Best place to buy the gear is over there but Norway isn't cheap.
Sorrels are great too. I use TNF chillkats over here fine up too about -10. Sounds great trip bpman would love to join you but middle of our racing season over. How long you planning on being away?. |
