Do you wire connected to the air sensor in the air filter housing? Same loom as MAF?

Is that going into a split in the air filter housing or just a trick of the photo?
What are the wire colours? ![]() ![]() |

It's just jumped out at me that it's a pin terminal. Let me know the wire colour though

Thanks for the replies so far.
Will check the wire colour tomorrow. It's not the inertia switch as that is wired in, and the two connectors to the air box are connected as well. If its a pin terminal I'll have to see if it has pulled out of something. Should have checked the wire colour when I took the photo - doh! 1996 Defender 130 converted to TD5 and auto 1975 Triumph Stag 3.0 V8 |

Looking at that pictue again... Crank sensor wire (if two wires) or oil pressure sensor wire (if single wire) Ian |

It's a single wire, and I don't recall plugging anything for oil yet. Where should it connect to? Cheers....Al 1996 Defender 130 converted to TD5 and auto 1975 Triumph Stag 3.0 V8 |

If you look under the turbocharger - about halfway down the engine block, you should see the oil sensor. You will need to find the correct plug to replace the missing one (is a 2 pin plug, but only one side is used). Can get a picture if needed. Ian |

Mystery solved - it is the oil pressure sensor wire, and found the plug on the sensor, so that was good.
Cheers for the help. Al 1996 Defender 130 converted to TD5 and auto 1975 Triumph Stag 3.0 V8 |
